Description Summary This role focuses on achieving operational excellence through centralized oversight, formal operational frameworks and risk management activities aimed at equipping and enabling colleagues to execute effectively and efficiently while managing risk. This includes centralized process management and data analysis, operational performance oversight, risk management and reporting, project and program management, business process mapping, and management of process improvements including defining and measuring improvement and success. Responsibilities As a member of the team, you will be working alongside your peers and others in the department to help achieve operational excellence focusing on key enablers including:
Process, Tools, Tech (may include):
Providing centralized management and continuous improvement of cross functional processes. Developing, implementing, and or managing new processes to support various cross-functional processes. This may include supporting various agile models and optimizing current processes by working with various teams to help them become more efficient in their day-to-day work with LOBs, Risk, Compliance, and other cross-functional teams Centralized implementation and ongoing maintenance of tools to aid functional processes. Leading continuous improvement efforts for cross departmental tools and processes Ensuring that processes are connected to department and individual goals with the following expected outcomes:
1) reduced errors/risk 2) Increased project speed while maintaining quality and adherence to various requirements including compliance and related rules and regulations as applicable, and 3) appropriate documentation and reporting needed to track intake and/or performance , pipelines, assigned resources and alignment of staff Risk Management (may include):
Providing centralized oversight of risk management activities for the department managing items such as, but not limited to, business continuity planning, record retention schedules, exams and audits, incident management, crisis management, and be a liaison for Legal, Risk, and Compliance partners Working with Compliance, Audit, and other functional teams to help ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations which may include activities related to RSCAs, ERMS controls and oversight of other risk management activities Taking actions to help ensure processes are memorialized through a a standardized documentation framework working across teams to assist process owners in their understanding of the framework, roles and responsibilities related to documentation and identification of risks and implementation of related controls Other risk management responsivities including completing first line operational reviews, tests or other activities focusing on the department's control environment Operational Performance Management (may include):
Ensuring operational metrics and key performance indicators are developed, monitored, and managed Leveraging work management tools to equip teams with the tools needed to manage various department functions and aid in strategic planning and management of their respective areas. Program management of various cross-functional processes from the intake step to project closure. Understanding demand and capacity and/or helping other team leads in understanding the same for their areas of responsibility) as well as working with team leads to transparently manage expectations through prioritization Centralized oversight of various budget components, expense and vendor management including reporting on items such as cost savings, analyzed ROI, and areas for growth and opportunity People & Culture (may include):
Collaborating across teams to plan department wide social and recreational events and or All Team meetings Working across the teams to document organizational structures, reporting lines, and roles and responsibilities Standardizing the new hire onboarding and training for new colleagues joining the team Managing a centralized change management process and communication You'll Make an Impact By:

Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree 5
years in operations and/or project management role supporting teams within a highly regulated environment Preferred
Qualifications:
Working experience utilizing Workfront as a project management and work management tool Agency experience Working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban) Analytical strength - comfortable building reports and analyzing data Strong relationship building and communication skills both written and oral Someone who is inquisitive and always looking to improve process and ways of working Project Management certification Ability to lead change across people, processes, and technology Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma certification or similar experience a plus The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
