Embarq Solutions is seeking an experienced general maintenance worker.
They will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and conducting minor repairs to the building and equipment.
They will perform a variety of semiskilled duties to include, but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, electrical and painting and they will work at the direction of the Chief Engineer, Lead Engineer, and Project Manager.
Essential Duties/
Responsibilities:
Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
Uses building's blueprints or equipment manual to perform routine maintenance on building systems and reports any issues to the maintenance manager or clients.
Execute thorough knowledge of local and state building codes and collaborates with the maintenance team and contractors.
Operates equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.
Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician and performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Detail-oriented, thorough, and knowledgeable about the operation and repair of routine maintenance.
Able to work efficiently in a team setting and effectively communicate and collaborate with maintenance workers, maintenance managers, and contractors.
Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or GED, at least 2 - 3 years of experience Must pass a background check and able to obtain an HSPD12 clearance.
