PL/SQL Developer
Overview:
CRGT, headquartered in Reston, VA and a leading integrator of Data Analytics and Systems Engineering services to the government and commercial marketplace, seeks a PL/SQL Developer.
Candidates for this role will possess advanced PL/SQL development techniques and will be well versed in the full development life cycle, including creation of design document, development following industry best practices, QA testing, and deployment. Candidate will be part of mid-size development team supporting custom financial and telecommunication application development and enhancement for a large federal government agency. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to public trust information.
Key
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and implement new and enhanced code for a custom PL/SQL application
Work with other technical staff and business analyst to discern business requirements and translate requirements into technical design documents
Create and execute quality assurance test scripts
Assist in breakdown of user stories into tasks
Participate in daily sprints
Execute Quality Assurance testing
Support user acceptance testing
Requirements:

years of experience developing applications using PL/SQL code
3
years of experience working with packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
1
years of performance tuning experience using explain plan, indexes, bulk processing techniques, oracle collections, and materialized views
Strong working knowledge of the SDLC lifecycle
Preferred:
Java development experience
Exposure to Agile development methodologies
Excellent interpersonal communications
