Non-Profit Payroll Manager
JustinBradley's client, a non-profit organization located in College Park, Maryland, is seeking a Payroll Manager. Our client distributes knowledge, enhances physical science disciplines, and promotes the physical sciences to the public, leaders, government officials, agencies, and the media. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the payroll area. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, good communication skills, must be flexible, and able to work under time constraints.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Process payroll for the client and five other associations;
Manage eTime, iPay and WFN software;
Monthly Salary Analysis;
Assist in the preparation of the annual salary budget, and the financial and pension audit;
Prepare journal entries and reconciliations related to payroll.
A well-qualified candidate will possess the following:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required;
At least 7 years of payroll experience;
1-3 years of supervisory experience is ideal;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ADP is preferred;
Non-profit (c) (6) experience is desired.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
