IT SPECIALIST (SYS ANALYSIS)

As a IT SPECIALIST (SYS ANALYSIS), you will:
Be responsible for oversight of design, installation, maintenance, and management of various Cloud based systems in support of large-scale information technology projects (e.g., the Electronic Record Archives (ERA 2.0) systems, the Executive Office of the President (EOP) systems, the NARA Archival Catalog (NAC) system, etc.). Serve as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) managing contractor staff on the design, procurement, installation, expansion, modernization, maintenance, documentation and management of Cloud services in anticipation of user needs so that users experience no capacity or performance degradation. Performs resource planning, cost estimating and cost budget and control for Cloud services. Plans, designs, and troubleshoots Cloud cost monitoring and optimization infrastructure, including reports, dashboard, monitoring software, and services. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement:

Experience:
For the GS-13, you must have one-year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Independently conducting assessments related to cost and billing of various Cloud based services/systems and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Google, Azure etc.); AND - Performing cost monitoring , trend analysis, forecasting and/or optimization; AND - Working with cloud solutions for Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure and/or Google cloud. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (e.g., ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (e.g., technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
