IT PROGRAM MANAGER

As an IT Program Manager, you will be responsible for:
-Overall responsibility for the management, planning, coordinating and developing of IT strategy, life cycle management, capital IT investment plans and information management framework -Program management leadership for the development and major enhancements of multiple IT applications and systems -Overall planning, direction, and management of all IT engineering and security aspects of the system life cycle phases You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Experience:
For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service in an IT program management or equivalent role monitoring and analyzing proposed and existing projects to ensure they meet business objectives. Examples of specialized experience could include:
-Leading strategic planning activities to support alignment with line of business goals which includes collaboration, consensus and prioritization of forecasted budget funding requests for investments in future technologies. OR -Utilizing the Federal acquisition life cycle to identify agency IT requirements and determine the most appropriate method for procuring items that support these IT requirements. OR -Experience creating and presenting to a leadership board new business needs and business cases that support legacy system modernization. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13level for 52 weeks.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
