As a IT SPECIALIST(SYSTEMS ENGINEER), you will:
The incumbent will be the NARA expert responsible for designing, integrating, and maintaining DevSecOps continuous test/integration/deployment and operational platforms. The incumbent will analyze/perform the work necessary to plan, design, develop, acquire, document, implement, integrate, test, maintain and modify IT systems and application development DevOps/Develops pipeline, independently as well as with contractor support. The incumbent defines and implements prototyping activities designed to assess technology maturity; uncovers defects in the system and analyzes the viability and testability of solutions to ensure fulfillment of IT programs and projects. The incumbent provides advice to top level NARA management on new technical developments and advances and their appropriate application to the IT program missions and business requirements. Supports management through technical writing; technical reviews and assessments; policy development, implementation, and enforcement; and oversight on the development, operations, and maintenance of NARA systems. Experience:
For the GS-14, you must have one-year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which have equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as
Experience:
- Designing, implementing, integrating, and maintaining DevOps/DevSecOps framework, tools, technologies and platforms; AND- Developing, configuring, deploying, and debugging application code and software for cloud, using cloud native technologies (e.g., Amazon Web Service and Azure), software development languages and concepts (e.g., JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5); AND- Managing software development process using Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps, Waterfall and software development and project management methodologies.In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13level for 52 weeks.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
