The following are the duties of this position at the GS-12. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. Contribute to the planning and implementation of digitization projects at the Branch and Division level. Report on and track the progress of projects and assignments. Ensure the proper storage, handling, and conservation of records. Consult with other stakeholders to achieve project goals and outcomes. Manage quality control and delivery of images by utilizing knowledge of NARA's data standards. Develop and deliver formal and informal training to staff in order to achieve project goals and maintain standardized digitization practices You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Experience:
To be qualified for this position at the GS-9 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 level that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Experience researching and reporting on archival records; AND Experience providing customer service to various audiences through oral and written communication techniques. OR 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or master's or equivalent graduate degree. OR You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. NOTE:
Only education in excess of the first 18 semester hours (i.e., beyond the first year) of graduate education is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-09, you must have been at the GS-07level for 52 weeks.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
