Duties Help Duties Summary This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Special Access and FOIA Program (RF).
RF is responsible for the physical and intellectual control of records of all closed Independent Counsels, the John F.
Kennedy (JFK) Assassination Records Collection, and other sensitive records such as those relating to high profile FBI investigations, and presidential commissions on matters of a highly classified nature or matters involving substantial privacy concerns Learn more about this agency Responsibilities As a SUPERVISORY ARCHIVIST, you will:
Determine the need for, plan, and monitor work relating to access review and records with restrictions or sensitivities; routinely evaluate the FOIA program, analyzing policies and programs to identify gaps and/or weaknesses.
Develop/interpret and implement policy and procedures relating to access review in conjunction with Division Director and NARA General Counsel; and direct efforts to maintain current guidance.
Provide counsel and guidance as a Federal/Organizational representative for electronic systems development such as Electronic Records Archives (ERA).
Plan and schedule the work of subordinate staff.

One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.

Qualifications You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
To be qualified for this position at the GS-14 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level, or equivalent in the public or private sector, that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
Leading a team, program, or project and managing multiple priorities, using time management to complete work within set deadlines.
; AND Reviewing records for information restricted by access statutes/policies and recommending release decisions.
; AND Experience collaborating, working with customers, executing communication strategies, plans or policies to individuals.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13level for 52 weeks.
Education Education Requirements:
The education generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the US Department of Education.
Basic requirements for all grades:
Bachelor's degree in archival science or bachelor's degree with a major that includes 18 semester hours in archival science, history and/or in political science or government, and 12 semester hours in one or any combination of the following:
archival science, history, American civilization, economics, political science, public administration, or government.
OR Combination of education and experience - at least 30 semester hours that included courses as shown above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
